Again, the Ray Reid Soccer School is offering a special 8-hour a day Developmental Training Program for male and female soccer players ages 7 - 12. Held at UConn in Storrs, Connecticut from July 10 - 14, this extended day camp will focus on improving your young player's technical skills to prepare them for the next level of play, whether it be at the travel, premier or U.S. Academy level. Training sessions will consist of technical work building each player's ball skills and creativity, small-sided instructional games and, at times, full-sided activities and matches. And, we will do our best to make sure everyone is having fun while learning!

Developmental Training Program training groups will be broken up by age, ability, and gender. Training groups will range from 10 to 14 players per coach depending on activity. In addition to the on-field soccer activities, players will watch a soccer-related video each day and swim in the UConn pool at the end of the day.

All players will receive an adidas soccer ball, adidas t-shirt, and lunch on Monday through Friday in a UConn Dining Hall.

Click here to see a sample schedule from a past Developmental Training Program: Developmental Training Program Schedule. Camp drop-off is at 7:45AM each morning and pick-up is at 4:15PM Monday - Thursday and at 12 Noon on Friday.

Our hope is to provide a quality soccer learning experience for each player while also growing each player's love and understanding of the game.
