Food Allergies and Dining at Elite Academy

Healthy meals for campers at the Ray Reid Soccer School Elite Academy are prepared by the University of Connecticut Department of Dining Services. The Dining Services department makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies, and the food production staff is instructed on the severity of food allergies. In addition, the Dining Services department labels items with possible allergen-containing ingredients; however, there is always a risk of contamination. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation or substitute at any time, without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk. For this reason, it is very important that all requests for special dietary needs, including food allergies, must be provided to the Ray Reid Soccer School camp office in writing no later than 14 days prior to the first day of the program. While the regular dining options satisfy many special dietary needs, the Dining Services department will work with you to provide reasonable accommodations for campers suffering from allergies.
