Ray Reid

Ray is the head coach of the national powerhouse University of Connecticut men's soccer team. Building on Connecticut's tradition of excellence, Coach Reid led the Huskies to a national championship in 2000. Through eleven seasons, he has compiled an impressive coaching mark of 166-59-18, reaching the NCAA Tournament the last ten years. During Coach Reid's tenure at UConn, the team has been Big East Regular Season Champions six times and won four Big East Tournaments. His UConn players have earned 15 All-American Honors and 55 All-Big East Honors. Prior to UConn, while the head coach at Southern Connecticut State University, Ray won three national championships, posting an overall record of 146-17-15. In 19 years as a collegiate head coach, he has amassed a record of 312-76-33 (.780), making him the active winningest coach by percentage at the Division I level.
